Barry J. Marshall（巴里·马歇尔），澳大利亚西澳大学临床微生物学教授，2005年诺贝尔生理学或医学奖得主，中国工程院外籍院士。因发现幽门螺杆菌及其在胃病中的作用而闻名，长期与中国合作开展幽门螺杆菌研究和胃癌防治工作，在深圳大学建立马歇尔生物医学工程实验室。 Barry J. Marshall, Professor of Clinical Microbiology at the University of Western Australia, 2005 Nobel Prize laureate in Physiology or Medicine, and foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Renowned for discovering Helicobacter pylori and its role in gastric diseases, he has long collaborated with China on H. pylori research and gastric cancer prevention, establishing the Marshall Biomedical Engineering Laboratory at Shenzhen University.
