奖项简介
国际科学技术合作奖于1994年设立，是中国科技奖励体系中专门授予外国科技工作者的奖项。该奖项每年评选一次，旨在推动国际科技交流与合作，促进中国与世界各国在科技领域的友好往来。

Pedro Antonio Valdés-Sosa（裴德乐），古巴脑科学家，自2015年起全职在电子科技大学工作。作为主要发起人创建全球大脑联盟组织，发起"中国-古巴-加拿大"国际脑科学合作计划，构建连接全球脑电学者的WeBrain平台，为中国脑科学领域国际合作作出重要贡献。2023年10月获习近平主席复信鼓励。
Pedro Antonio Valdés-Sosa, Cuban neuroscientist, has worked full-time at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China since 2015. As a principal founder of the Global Brain Consortium, he initiated the China-Cuba-Canada international brain science cooperation program and built the WeBrain platform connecting global EEG researchers. In October 2023, he received a reply letter of encouragement from President Xi Jinping.

Renowned for discovering Helicobacter pylori and its role in gastric diseases, he has long collaborated with China on H. pylori research and gastric cancer prevention, establishing the Marshall Biomedical Engineering Laboratory at Shenzhen University.
